Mt. Washington Auto Road

Kancamagus Highway

Mount Washington Cog Railway
The Mount Washington Cog Railway continues to provide a sense of adventure and history as it carries passengers up a 3-mile-long trestle and the steepest railroad tracks in North America to the 6,288-foot summit of Mount Washington. There, visitors can take in the spectacular panoramic view, spanning the mountains and valleys of New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont, north into Canada, and east to the Atlantic Ocean.

Here you can enjoy an old-fashioned railroading experience on vintage trains traveling over historic tracks in the heart of New Hampshire's White Mountains. This is a step back in time the whole family will enjoy!

Gorham Moose Tours
Join in the fun for a 3-hour journey along the picturesque Androscoggin River and into the 13-Mile Woods area on our scenic Moose/Wildlife Tour. Ride in a comfortable, air conditioned, 15 or 21-passenger tour bus in search of the giant of the North Country. Typically, an average of eight moose are spotted during a single tour! The tour leaves from the Gorham Information Booth on the Town Common and features a guided tour of the local area and several historical sites along the way.

MWV Moose Bus Tours
Ride along on a 3.5 hour mountain journey in a 26-passenger, air conditioned Moose Bus. Although, it is illegal to use spot lights after dark, the Moose Bus is allowed to use its flood and spot lights to find and view the moose! Each tour finds an average of over five moose nightly through Labor Day.

Cannon Mountain Ariel Tramway
An 80-passenger cable car brings visitors to the 4,080-foot summit of Cannon Mountain in under ten minutes. On a clear day, you can see the mountains of four states and Canada! At the summit, you'll find spectacular scenic walking paths, a 360 degree observation deck, a cafeteria, bar and restrooms.
